SEMRush |
If you are new to SEMRush, you may be wondering what the tool is and how professional bloggers use it for their own websites.
What is SEMRush?
The nice thing about SEMRush is that it can be used by a number of websites. Whether you have a popular personal blog based on Adsense, Infolinks, or a company website that is designed to attract more visitors, SEMRush can work for you with ease. The platform identifies the various trends in your niche, identifies a variety of keywords, checks your SEO on the page, checks rankings and subsequent links.
Because if your blog is well optimized, it's good to attract more traffic and income. If you don't use a tool like SEMRush, you may not know the keywords users are looking for to find a blog like yours. You may not be aware of which pages on your website are preventing or helping you succeed. SEMRush can easily change the way your website works and is one of the most important online marketing tools I recommend to users.
5 ways bloggers can use SEMRush
SEMRush offers a 14-day free trial and you can then upgrade to a paid subscription if you think this is a useful tool for your blog. As a blog owner, you may want to know what SEMRush can do for you and how other bloggers use the software to optimize their websites.
1) Understand your current success
When you access SEMrush and enter your domain name, you'll see a traffic summary screen that shows you how to rank both paid and bio channels for the search traffic you get. You can immediately see if your traffic is up or down, if your ranking for your main keywords is improving or deteriorating, as it ranks in SEMrush and other areas.
You can download the general report created by SEMrush in PDF format and easily change the date ranges so that you can track the progress of your website over different periods such as the past 30 days or the past 2 years.
Here is part of the summary screen that shows traffic growth over a period of time.
2) Understand your competitors better
Let's face it, there are millions of blogs and many are probably very similar to yours. For this reason, it is worth knowing your competitors and seeing what makes them successful while you can continue to fight for traffic to your website. SEMRush has a feature that allows you to display your competitors and the keywords that give them access to their own blogs. From there you can easily decide whether you want to develop content for these search terms.
If you understand the competition and how your marketing works, you can be successful in the long term.
If a competitor gets traffic to keywords that are relevant to your blog, why not that access too?
For example, this website contains a number of topics that should make it easier to start a blog, such as: For example, writing blog posts or increasing social media follow-up.
A website that appeals to similar readers for me is Problogger, for example. So let's look at your traffic.
I explain what the titles you see mean.
- Keywords: The main keywords that Problogger is classified by.
- Position: where they are classified for these keywords (the number in brackets is their classification).
- Volume: The estimated monthly traffic generated by these keywords
- CPC: The cost of a click when someone advertises based on that keyword (in dollars).
- URL: The website that generates the traffic.
- Traffic: Average percentage of all traffic the website receives from this keyword.
3) Find new keyword options
When I click on the keyword "What is a blog?" If you click, other keywords will be shown which, according to SEMRush, may be relevant to this term. You can find these in the "Keyword Matching Report" and the "Related Keyword Report".
With this quick search I can find another keyword that interests me ... "What to Blog About", which includes 1,300 searches per month in the United States.
4) Find better advertising opportunities
Monetizing your blog with advertising is a popular way to make money online.
There are website owners who pay a lot of money for traffic through networks like Google AdWords while generating their own traffic for free. AdWords can be very expensive. So if you find these companies, you can make money by suggesting they post their ads directly on your website, or even participate in their affiliate program.
SEMRush makes it easy for you. It analyzes all keywords for which you have a ranking, then identifies the companies that pay for advertising based on these keywords and displays them in a diagram.
Looking back at our example from Problogger, we can see that the following websites advertise keywords for which they already rank fairly well. Paid traffic is a good indicator of the keywords bloggers use to make money.
5) Keep an eye on your current and existing classifications
SEMRush offers another important function: You can track your current and past ranking reports. You can see different trends in all areas of your blog. Many bloggers who don't use SEMRush may not remember exactly which keywords or entries were a real hit in terms of organic traffic. You may think that something worked for you in the past, but don't trust the terms or pages that worked and why.
Use SEMRush as a blogger
If you are a blogger who is not currently using SEMRush for information, you are sure to miss the opportunity to use your entire blog. If you know what works for you and what doesn't, you can't do anything that could hinder your business in the future. It also helps you to become aware of the elements that help attract more traffic and income in the long run, especially by understanding the keywords that other people are targeting.
The fact that thousands of bloggers and marketers around the world use SEMRush every day should make you realize how valuable this tool is.
SEMRush literally changes the face of SEO and makes it more accessible to everyone. You can control the vehicle your website runs on and improve the way your blog works to determine what makes your blog successful or prevents it from becoming a blog.
I just couldn't leave your website before telling you that I truly enjoyed the top quality info you present to your visitors? Will be back again frequently to check up on new posts. Man with a Van West London
